Heinrich H. Friesen, b.2/20/1916, d.2/24/2007 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. He married Elizabeth Kroeker on 10/17/1947 (daughter of Gerhard Kroeker and Elisabeth Friesen).
My Grandparents
Isbrand Friesen, b.3/12/1867 in South Russia, d.6/4/1945 in Hague, Saskatchewan. He married Anna J. Neudorf, on 9/9/1894. They had 7 children: Elisabeth (above), Anna, David I., Jacob I, twins, Isbrand N &am; Katharina, and Maria.
Anna J. Neudorf, b.9/21/1874 in South Russia, d.5/31/1947 in Hague, Saskatchewan. (Her o.s. birth date was 9 Sep).
My Great-Grandparents
David L. Friesen, b.5/13/1839 in South Russia, d.8/3/1911 in Blumenheim, Hague-Osler Reserve, Saskatchewan. (Bg03 says he was born 13 May 1834). In Dyck & Harms (1998, p. 191), David is shown to be born on 5/13/1834. He married Elisabeth Bueckert on 10/6/1861 in South Russia.
Elisabeth Bueckert, b.12/23/1841 in South Russia, d.3/28/1913 in Osler, Saskatchewan. One record says she died at Blumenheim, Saskatchewan.

Jacob Bueckert, b.12/25/1811 in Chortitza, Chortitza, South Russia, d.11/14/1884. R219-3 Some sources give death as 12/14/1884 Jacob and his family immigrated to Canada in June 1877, sailing on the SS Sarmatian (Dyck &s; Harms, 1998, p. 147). He married (1)Helena Doerksen on 11/13/1834. He married (2)Justina Loewen on 7/20/1880, b.11/15/1822 in Neuenburg, Chortitza, South Russia, d.1900 in Blumengart, West Reserve, Manitoba, Justina: Her death may be in Manitoba Vitals as Justina Loewen died 4/23/1900 RM Rhineland, age 77.

Herman Bueckert, b. 8/15/1779 in Prussia, d.4/25/1855 in Kronsweide, Chortitza, South Russia. Heubuden Church records say he was born 8 Sep 1779 in Stadtfeld. He migrated from Prussia to S. Russia in 1803 where he likely setted in the Chortitza Colony (P.Rempel, p.66, B.H.Unruh, p.271). He was from Schoenau, Prussia. He was residing in Chortitza in 1809 per the 1809 Chortitza Colony Vaccination Lists. In the Oct 1816 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Chortitza #23. He transferred his home in Neu Osterwick, Chortitza Colony to Johann Peters in 1846 per Odessa Archive, Fund 6, Inventory 5, File 53. He married (1)Maria Dyck, Abt 1803. He married (2)Maria Elias on 11/4/1819 in South Russia, b.6/7/1799, d.Sep/1837 in Chortitza Colony, South Russia. He married (3)Maria Dueck on 11/25/1837, b.Abt 1783, d.1842, Maria: At the time of her marriage in 1801 she was from the home of a Peter Dyck who may have been her father. He married (4)Katharina Penner, Abt.1843, b.11/3/1785 in Prussia, d.5/17/1856 in Chortitza Colony, South Russia, Katharina: GAMEO article on son Peter Bernhard Klippenstein says she died 1865.

She married (1)Martin Klassen, Nov/1801 in Chortitza, Chortitza, South Russia, b.Abt 1771 in Klein Montau, Gross Werder, Prussia, d.Jan/1803 - May/1803 in Chortitza, Chortitza, South Russia, Martin: In the 1801 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Chortitza #33. He was 32 years old when he died. She married (2)Herman Bueckert, Abt.1803.
