Oh dear, this is where you have come to find out about me, isn't it?

As for a short bio --

I'm a Canadian, and until February was a live-in caregiver for my Dad, (who reached 91 and 4 days), and I'm a writer, editor, publisher, online netpreneur, and a friend and mentor as needed.

My main calling in life, I feel, is the publishing and promotion of my Christian books, particularly, Ruthe's Secret Roses right now, to be intentional and mentoring in my friendships, and to be a generous giver like God. To do all that I have to raise funds by various other means. Fortunately, God has blessed me with a vivid imagination and nimble mind, and the courage to try doing things I've never done before. All the while, making new friends and adding them to my collection, which I call a RoseBouquet. You are welcome to join my RoseBouquet ezine, which is FREE! I keep trying to restrain genealogy to just a hobby but once you get me talking about it, I get so enthused you'll wonder whether it is just a hobby any more. (Truth is, when I get enthused about anything IT SHOWS!)

Genealogy is about people, and I'm a people-person, but I keep saying it is also like a jig-saw puzzle - and some of us have a hard time going to bed if there's a puzzle laying out and about, eh?

I now live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Dad passed away on February 24, 2007, and after some very busy months selling his house and preparing for an auction, then cleaning up the left-overs, I've settled into a wee little house of my own in the city.
